John Aton Joins Corn Belt Bank & Trust
Corn Belt Bank & Trust is pleased to announce the appointment of John D. Aton as Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Aton will oversee all accounting and financial functions of the bank as well as data processing, information technologies and human resources; reporting directly to the President & CEO, Mr. Jeffrey Stark. Mr. Aton will be managing from the bank’s main office in Pittsfield, Illinois.

Mr. Aton brings a wealth of knowledge to his position. Coming out of retirement to join Corn Belt Bank & Trust, his previous experience includes Health Care Family Credit Union as Vice President and CFO and St. Andrew Credit Union as Accounting Manager.

Earning a BS in History from Washington University, a BSBA from the University of Missouri (St. Louis) and a MBA from the University of Missouri (Columbia), Mr. Aton has an extensive educational background. He is a member of Illinois Municipal Treasurers Association and the American Numismatists Association. Currently he serves as Treasurer for the Village of Nebo, Illinois and is a member of the Habitat for Humanity of Pike County Illinois.
